French delegation visits Áras Contae an Chláir
Clare County Council this week hosted a delegation from the French commune of Nort-sur-Erdre which signed a twinning agreement with the Clare communities of Sixmilebridge, Kilmurry and Kilkishen at the weekend.
Councillor John Crowe, representing the local twinning committee, was joined by Yves Dauvé, Mayor of Nort-sur-Erdre, and officials of the French twinning committee on a visit to Áras Contae an Chláir where they were welcomed by Councillor Michael Begley, Mayor of Clare, and Pat Dowling, Chief Executive of Clare County Council.
Nort-sur-Erdre is a commune in the Loire-Atlantique department in western France and is located on the River Erdre, north of Nantes.
